Took a few days off. Our 12 wood ice houses, with each having an underwater camera and heat, support you in comfort during all cold weather.

A special, very Merry Christmas to all of you that continue to support John Andrew and the guiding we do for Vilas, Iron and Oneida Counties of the great state of Wisconsin. I apologize for turning so many people down, I have no Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays open from today thru the first Saturday of March 2014. You all are special people, God Bless you.

This family enjoyed a great day together, Christmas Eve, celebrating the joy of there children, watching them grow, develop, and become the people they hope for. As they pulled Pike after Pike thru the ice, we were focusing on location and we caught fish from the weeds to the deepest hole in the lake. We used the deepest section on its edges and set our bait 5 ft. off the bottom and some times 8 ft. off the bottom. Treble hooks, tieable wire, Frabill Tip Ups and G.P.S. locations from open water time periods.

There Pike were all caught on Shiners and Tip Ups. Working with, serving and helping create part of my guests happiness, is a true privilege and honor. Good luck and lets go get e’m.
