Again, thank you all very much for continuing to call for guiding. On this rainy morning of today, this husband and wife enjoyed catching Walleye. We caught all our fish in and close to a log pile in 11 to 13 ft of water. Slip bobbers and leeches were used and several Walleye were caught, the keepers are shown above. Several Smallmouth Bass were also caught, no big ones but good action.

Finding a log pile associated with deeper water or on the ledge of a river channel is our answer to this early summer limit of Walleye. An occasional Walleye is caught in the deepest part of the channel but the edges are working the best for us.

As always, stay positive, think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
