This family also enjoyed the day catching Pike after Pike, chasing flags from Tip Ups. Shiners along a deep drop was this days best location. This ledge was outside a shallow weedy bay. On certain lakes the ice is still only 6 inches, on other small lakes like we are fishing there is 12 or more inches with a lot of deep slush.

The Perch were once again on a mud flat and they were yes, once again, snit picky and finicky all rolled into one. With the under water camera we were able to coax these beauty’s into biting. The shape of our lure we present the wax worm on and the color of the lure is the critical concept to our success, well, then there is the technique we employ, you must experiment, yes we catch a lot of small ones.
