We are now producing Pan fish, Walleye and Pike, as well as several other people that have been out ice fishing. More great clients supporting Northern Vilas County Wisconsin.

We are fishing small lakes that have good ice conditions. Our small warm spell is going to end tomorrow and is going right back to single degree low temps. These happy clients enjoyed there day catching fish after fish. We were using Wax Worms and small ice jigs in conjunction with a small split shot and 2 lb test line fishing on a deep ledge with logs and boulders, the fish were in the logs at 26 ft. deep. With the past cold temps we have 1 ice house out and producing very well as these photos show and 3 more ice houses on the ice and ready to move out later this coming week, probably by Thursday or Friday. We are “set up on 3 new lakes” this year due to the winter fish kill that took place on several shallow weedy lakes last winter.

Ice fishing reservations are now available. My fishing reports come from you, thank you for reading and calling me with all your positive comments regarding my reports. New Marcum underwater cameras in each ice house.
