Make no mistake about it, the Walleye are biting in, NORTHERN WISCONSIN.

As we continue producing Walleye day after day, this happy client from Florida who took a plane to get in on the hot bite, is excited to be in the great north woods of Wisconsin. Staying at one of the best resorts in the north and dinning at great eating establishments.

The eddy, the slack water in the moving water continues to be where we are fishing, and this  is the key to our fish of the first 3 days of the opener but, it has to be rocky, no silt, muck or weeds. and not in the deepest part of the hole, not yet.

All our Walleye were caught in the current and no, none of our fish had spawned yet, eggs on the floor and milk squirted all over the boat. The Walleye not pictured are still swimming, as “selective harvest is a top priority”.

As always, stay positive, think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
