Late summer Walleye.

The standard jig and minnow, deeper water at the bottom of the drop off, where we were fishing.

Remember, color of your jig head does make a difference, depending on the Walleye forage.

This depends on several factors including water clarity.

25 to 35 ft.

Water temps dropping quickly.

Trolling for Walleye and Musky during the day is still working well especially on those shallow weedy lakes.

A very welcome cool down the last few days and for the next couple of days, a taste of fall.

Some openings in September and October.
