As ice out is only a few short weeks away, for the Vilas County lakes of Wisconsin, many people are already fishing the dams and rivers.
Many people are still fishing the weedy bays of several lakes for Gills and the multiple small Crappie that are not suspending over deeper water although, Several lakes are showing the catch of bigger Crappie that are suspending over deeper water.
Perch, still reported on the mud flats.
