Wow, finally, a 5 star spring day, awesome. Sun, calm winds, warm temps and Big Perch on the Feed Bag, awesome.

This Great Grand Father and his 2 – 60 year old boys enjoyed there morning pulling fish after fish. Awesome family men. We took layer after layer of clothing off as the morning heated up. Finally, a breath of warmth on the water, we even got the sun screen out.

Ok, the fish were flat to the bottom and minnows and small leeches were producing, no plastics even got a sniff. Small jigs and slip bobbers were needed. Moving the baits extremely slow did the trick, even the bobbers, they would sit perfectly still and once we twitched them one time, the bobber went slowly down and BANG we set the hook and reeled in what you see below. Leeches on the slip bobbers and minnows on the jigs. Once again, the first drop off away from shore, as reported in my last post.

This May, June and July of 2017 are completely booked for guiding, openings in August and September.
