At this location we targeted Crappie and as shown, we captured them. A rock point that extended out from shore a short distance, about 50 ft and then dropped to 40 ft.

Now, there is a flat that is from 25 to 30 ft that is connected to this point and this flat is only about 20 long before it drops to 40 ft.

The fish were stacked up on this flat section of the point and minnows were the trick. The bite was very soft and short, you had to be right on the take to catch them. These are quality fish.

Accepting ice fishing reservations for this winter.
