WALLEYE TODAY AND TOMORROW:

This opening in the clouds and wind at sunset was perfect for the end of the day Walleye family picture. This is one of the nicest family’s you could ever imagine, smiling, laughing, enjoying the cold windy day and catching Walleye. Working on a wind-blown deep point that has a small but deep underwater bar extending only about 80 or 90 ft off shore was this ‘ answer. All strikes that my guests had were at aprox. 34 ft. on this Flowage and the next post will go into great detail on how, why, when, location, boat control, blue sky or clouds and of course depth at each specific location.

When we worked the opposite side of the ledge which was just as deep, no strikes were had. The windy side although hard for boat control, was the answer for this photo.
