WALLEYE TODAY:

These guests wanted to try Crappie and we went straight to a good Crappie lake and produced the fish you see above, the smallest is 11-1/2 inches.

These fish were all caught in 30 ft of water on the bottom of the lake with a jig and minnow. Throwing back several other fish was fun for these clients. With the wind blowing and the cold temperatures producing several Walleye was a challenge while drifting down a steep island ledge. Repeated drifts with both trollers burning against the wind was needed to slow our drift enough to be effective. A special thank you to all of you that call for guiding, I will do my best, as it is all of you that create my fishing reports.
