A Reproduction sized Perch for the wall, biggest Perch we have iced in a few years. Yes, there are bigger Perch caught by people but, for northern Wisconsin’s inland water lakes, this is a beauty. My hat goes off to this young man, Wow!

This family enjoyed the day catching Pike after Pike, chasing flags from Tip Ups. Shiners along a deep drop was this days best location. This ledge was outside a shallow weedy bay.

The Perch were once again on a mud flat and they were snit picky and finicky all rolled into one and you had to be on your “A” game to catch them and I mean I had to work carefully with clients to get them into there MOJO, so to speak, to help them entice the strike of these Jumbo’s. Tiny Crappie minnows work but, the wax worm still out produces all other presentations. The shape of our lure we present the wax worm on and the color of the lure is the critical concept to our success, well, then there is the technique we employ, you must experiment, yes we catch a lot of small ones.
