BLUE GILL:   01 – 28 – 2015       Day  1

A veteran angler once again enjoying another day in the north woods of Vilas County Wisconsin and supporting our area. My hat goes off to this angler as we have worked together on multiple occasions for multiple species during multiple seasons for several years. He has been fishing from Cape Coral Florida, Key West Florida, Ketchikan Alaska, Juno Alaska, Corpis Christie Texas, Ontario Canada, St. Thomas, St. Croix and countless other locations. Gill fishing only (for now) produced these quality fish. All our ice houses are located on public lakes. Having multiple ice houses placed on several lakes is working well. Gills came from shallow water around 6 ft and in the weeds from this small lake. Ice jigs and wax worms is all that is needed, actually the glow jig did help for more consecutive strikes.
