Again, thank you all very much for continuing to call for guiding. I am doing double headers to help all.

Do not let these photos full you, it was cool and misty and rainy all morning today,  untill the sun broke out around 12:30 PM. and the temps jumped 15 degrees. During summer time, we are in the boat no later than 6 AM and at Walleye time, it is 4:30 AM, but, that’s for another post.

All these Perch were caught on pieces of night crawler, slip bobber and a hook and as these photos clearly show, they were bitting. The best depth for the fish we caught and yes, you can catch perch at several different depths right now, depending on the lake you are fishing but, for us the best depth was 17 ft. and on the mud flats of this particular lake.

Make no mistake about it, you can catch Perch in the weeds, wood or the rocks but, we caught them on a mud flat. These 2 adults were as happy as kids, laughing, joking, kidding around and catching lots and lots of fish.
