10  – 17– 2015:

As the first lake effect snow of the season blankets northern Vilas county Wisconsin with a coating of snow on this morning we are picturing part of yesterdays catch. The Walleye bite is consistent and getting better, for us.  As we are producing back trolling, drift jigging and vertical jigging. Minnows are working the best although the crawler harness is still producing Walleye.    Deep water is producing the best, again, for us.          The windy cold days do not blow us off the lakes, we simply fish a good lake on spots out of the main force of the wind.  The Flowages may be at low water levels but the Walleye are biting, simply fish the river and creek channels and you will produce Walleye.
