I recently received a voice mail that went like this.     Hi John, can we please catch some Perch for a fish fry tonight, so we left an hour later and they enjoyed a last minute Perch fry. A couple of days before this the same fisherman caught some good Walleye.

All fish were caught in the deep mud flats, no weeds, no rocks, and no drop offs, just the deep mud flats. All fish were caught on Crappie minnows and vertical fishing, yes, vertical, straight under the boat and fish after fish came aboard. A small weight or a small tic or tap is all that was felt.  A couple of days earlier they caught Walleye and some good ones.               Again, thank you all very much for continuing to call for guiding.   November has available dates open and ice fishing has limited dates available.      As always, stay positive, think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
