October 05,  2016.     Day 2

We went back to the Perch today.  The bite was slower today but we still caught many, many fish and a bonus Jumbo Walleye (released.)    He kept a few for a fish fry.  Deeper water is where we were fishing.   Water temp is still at 60 degrees but, this is going to drop rapidly after this weekend as a big cold front is rolling in and most the lakes will finally begin to turn over.    I am booked for guiding thru October, openings in November.
