This Musky event is unsurpassed, yes, a lot of people and guides produce big Musky but, in this case a 1/16 oz jig head, 6 lb test with a Crappie minnow produced this beast, that’s right a 1/16 oz jig head 6 lb test and a Crappie minnow.

A 42 minute live video follows the actual events that unfolded in landing this fish, AWESOME. This young man followed every request I offered and we chased this fish over 600 ft with the trolling motor, believe it or not. Around the boat, under the boat, around the front troller and untangled, then straight out from the boat 200 hundred ft and surfacing 3 times (no jumps.)You could easily see the jig in the corner of the fishes mouth. The drag was adjusted to allow the fish to pull out and away as the 1/16 oz jig head hook would of easily stretched out and loss of the fish would of surely happened.

After 35 minutes I told the guests I was going to pull up on top of her with the trolling motor and put this to an end. As we approached closer and closer and the guest was reeling in the line the fish surfaced right next to the boat and finally, she went straight into the Bag. Multiple photos followed and a live release was performed, even after the long battle and 60 seconds of photos, the cold water temps and the fast release and revival, this Musky is alive and well and a replica is on the way.

Wow, AWESOME, OUTSTANDING.
