Make no mistake about it, the Jumbo Perch are still biting and lots of them, depending what lake your on and what location, as always.
Light line, 1/32 oz jig and minnow, wax worms for the smaller fish (for us.)

This father was more excited than his son, a great family man and a great father, my hat goes off to this family.    There were laughing, joking, and both were giggling just like kids, a fantastic relationship.

Mud flats are best at this lake, but, wood piles and weeds are also producing, around 12 to 19 ft for the weeds and 28 ft for the wood piles. I do not always post every day as I have in the years past. I am hoping the ice will last till the 10th of March.

Tomorrow will be just as good, what an exciting ice season.

Thank you to all who keep calling for guiding.  I am very sorry for turning so many people away, I am completely booked thru March 10 and May and June of 2017 are completely booked, openings in July.
