Went back for Crappie today and did very well as these pics show.     Minnows and working the first drop off away from shore. Slip bobbers work well and remember, Crappie have been biting for some time up north but, each lake is different with different water temps which determines the level of activity for the Crappie during spring time.         Some great Crappie lakes have not even started to become active but, very soon will be.    A lot of fish were up shallow but, cold rain and cold temps are moving them back off the shore, in most (but not all) lakes.      This May, June and July of 2017 are completely booked for guiding, openings in August and September.
