Just got in as the sun came out.       Who says I never fish my home lake? Last year I guided my home lake 18 days in the boat and 31 days for ice fishing guiding and yes, along the east shore and the islands. Although, this year has been poor for Musky fishing for us.

We waited in the truck this late AM and went out as soon as the rain stopped, around 11.    Fished on V.V. Lake on the Presque isle Chain and did well for big Perch. This happy customer enjoyed his 1/2 day pulling several fish. Several other boats were out on V.V. lake.  Around 10 to 14 ft. was best. Heading back out there again tomorrow, Sunday.

This September of 2017 is now completely booked for guiding. Openings in October and the first 15 days of November.
