Switched over to Walleye fishing for the rest of the fall season. I think. The windy conditions of this morning were working in our favor, after waving hello and saying good morning to 3 other boats heading out to go fishing (and a guy watching from his deck) we settled in. We began casting but do to the wind we started drift jigging instead and produced some quality Walleye, as shown below. We also caught several smaller fish, along with some deep Crappie and again, drift jigging. Minnows are best, for us.
Openings in October, early November and Ice Fishing for 2017and 2018.
