We were going to go to Echo lk.  but it got hammered by a lot of fishermen over the weekend. We switched back over to Walleye yesterday and caught several, no big ones but a few for the frying pan.

We had to break thru the ice to get into this lake as you can clearly see the channel of open ice we created getting in. All fish on minnows. Although we are forecast to slightly warm up this coming weekend, (mid 30’s) winter is coming early this year and early ice Walleye fishing is right around the corner, very soon.

This fisherman has the touch for fishing as he needed very little introduction the pattern that is working. He is one of the nicest, most polite and eager to learn fishermen I have had the pleasure working with.
