Just took a quick ride around the P.I. Chain of Lakes on my sled, across  the ice.  Just got back now. Lots of small water holes thru the ice and several open holes thru the channel. This is expected as normal, thru the decades of enjoying the thaw.

I drove fast and enjoyed the last ride of the year. Yes, I know,  the question is why, well, after 45 years of our family owning a home here, I knew this was the last enjoyable ride during the warm weather.

May, June and July no longer have open available dates.

This August and fall has openings. I will be reporting daily starting on 05-05-2018.
