PERCH:

Our fish have been finicky but biting with added light touch technique  due to the weather but, we are still producing. The elements are at best, “BRUTAL”. Deeper fish for us now, 25 ft. ultra slow presentation, 2 lb test mono.

Tip up fishing is slim to none for us do to the – 30 and – 40 wind chills but, inside the ice houses we are doing well. No hole covers, no tip ups, hole covers are mandatory. A hearty sole is required to check the flags. Triple hand warmers inside my choppers.

I think I am going to the store this Saturday and buy some sun screen as it is suppose to be around 30 degrees.
