As many, many people continue fishing with family and friends (maintaining social distancing) the bite remains good in Vilas County Wisconsin, for us.

Our pattern, remains the same, for us, during this cold spring weather as described below in this report although, this is going to change quickly as the warm the weather arrives starting this coming Wednesday and thru the weekend.

Fished another Presque isle Lake in Vilas County Wisconsin yesterday with a good friend and we produced multiple Walleye, for us. Water temp was 49 degrees and the Walleye were milking all over the boat.

Make no mistake about it, the fish are biting in Vilas County Wisconsin, for us. Fish where they spawn or around that area and even in this cold water time frame you could catch some Walleye. A slow presentation is important, running and gunnig is not my recommendation, at today’s water temps.

As most, minnows are leading the way for live bait. Our bite is subtle on our location of fishing. All lakes are warming slowly depending on the size, depth and there water color.
