As many, many people continue fishing with family and friends (maintaining social distancing) is still very important to all of us.

Fished 2 Presque isle lakes again the last 2 days. Different lakes do have unique characteristics that only are oblivious to that lake. We again produced Walleye in both lakes but, one lake produced better than the other.

This could be due to cloud cover in the morning, water clarity, water temp or sunshine in the afternoon and the list of reasons goes on and on. All of the lakes are going to warm up extremely fast during the next 7 or 8 days and this will  ignite multiple specie of fish to feed and begin there spawning ritual.

Our fish of the past 2 days were as most, on minnows and from 5 to 30 ft deep with a very slow presentation. Weeds were not working for us as the extremely cold water temps are slow to produce much new growth.

The North wind has been blowing in for the last few hours and Sunday is to be a nasty 51 degree high temp with rain all day (according to the Weather forecast.) Still nice temps tomorrow. By next Thursday we are currently forecast to be at 80 degrees.
