The edge of the deep weed line worked best for us again today. Water temp is continuing to drop quickly. The cold north wind is again blowing as I type in this post, low around 28 or 29  tonight and possible frost in the morning.

A nice warm up is going to blow in the next few days and back into the low to mid 70’s by Tues. or Wed. , as currently forecast by the weather channel and yes, this may change.

Some mud flats are still producing for us, back trolling with a jig and minnow is good and for us, a jig and crawler is still producing on certain lakes. Other Guides are producing on different lakes at different depths and different methods, above is how we are doing it.

I am “completely booked for my ice fishing season” as I am only, as of now, only Guiding 30 days a winter and as said, I am completely booked for this ice season.

Although trolling is still producing well on my home chain of lakes for Musky and Walleye especially on Van Vliet, as many reports are saying and why do I say this, because every evening I watch it happen from my front lake view windows.
