These Crappie were caught on plastics and fishing over deep wood structure. We casted our baits to the area above the wood pile and counted our bait down several seconds and then began our retrieve. Bright purple was the color of choice for our jig head on this day.

We caught several Crappie and then we moved to another wood location and produced the same with the same technique.

All fish not pictured above are still swimming.
