Crappie, Yesterday and Today:

Late post. Took a few days off.

As the good weather was helpful, this father could not be happier as his boys enjoyed learning how to catch Crappie and then had a mouth watering shore lunch.

These fish were caught on minnows and from a weed line that dropped from 6 to 12 ft. of water, the Crappie were at the bottom of the weed line where the drop off went even deeper. Slip bobbers worked well as leaving the bait right in front of the fish was needed to provoke the strike.
