Please, remember a prayer for everyone of our Guiding Brothers and Guiding Sisters in all of Florida and the Caribbean, as well as all others.
The whole family is coming up for a family reunion next week and laughing about  “The Big Surprise”, especially, our father.

We are heading out tomorrow afternoon on my home lake, Van Vliet, for a  day of Perch fishing.

Today we decided to go back for Crappie and did well as the below photos show, along with a bonus Big Walleye, released.   All fish were caught in the weeds and along a brush pile, around 12 ft deep. Minnows were best although certain plastics work well as some trolling in the warm water temps.      This to is going to change very quickly starting this up coming week as the “high temp forecast” for Tues is 64, 57 for Wed and only 49 for Fri.

This September and October of 2017, are now completely booked for guiding. Openings for the first 15 days of November, only.
