Heading out tomorrow afternoon on my home lake, Van Vliet, for a  day of Perch fishing.         We got in a few hours of good fishing before the rain came down.  This group of guys had a ball catching a few dozen Crappie from a brush pile. Also some fish were caught along a drop off. Minnows were best. About 10 ft deep was also best.  Thanks guys you were great.

The whole family is coming up for a family reunion next week and laughing about  “The Big Surprise.”

This September of 2017 is now completely booked for guiding. Openings in October and the first 15 days of November.
