ICE OUT IS ARRIVING IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN.

As the ice is quickly melting and the lakes are just starting to open up, just a few more days will do it. The Turtle Flowage has been open at Murrays Landing for 2 weeks already (not the rest of the Flowage, not yet.)    A short cold spell is arriving tomorrow for a couple of days and then back to the high 50’s for the weekend and that should take care of most of the ice, except for  the largest lakes.    I took the last several weeks in a row off for guiding and attended sport shows performing radio interviews and conducting seminars as well as attending my own booth.

I also was supposed to head down to the southern states for 2 weeks of Jumbo Crappie fishing but the heavy rains and severe weather of the last several days has prevented that from taking place.

My ice fishing season was fantastic, very successful and the busiest yet to date.     With “New Ice Houses” all ready to go for the 2017 and 2018 ice season, I have already been excepting reservations for ice fishing. These new and larger ice houses will each have all seating, heat, an Underwater Fishing Camera so you can actually see the fish biting the hook and all fishing equipment included for each fisherman.

This May and June of 2017 are completely booked for guiding, I will be guiding 7 days a week and I already have a few double headers booked on top of that as I am trying to help as many people as possible. I am also booked the first 5 days of July,  several openings available after that.
