We switched back to Crappie today. We caught several fish inside the deep wood, if we were 5 ft away from the wood we would not get a strike. This couple, the nicest people you could ever want to meet and or share a boat with only wanted enough fish for dinner and the Walleye was a bonus fish for them. Several of the Crappie released were hard hitting and not willing to let go, when they took the bait, they held on, right into the net,      I am booked for guiding thru October, openings in November.

As always, stay positive, think clearly do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
