Still, 1 more day of Crappie fishing and a good day it was. The wind was tough today on us but, as usual, hard work payed off, as it did again today. A lot of boat control was needed and I mean a lot of control was needed. Our fish were moving all over the structure we were fishing and staying on top of them was an endless amount of maneuvering with the boat.

Yes we could of anchored but when the fish moved we needed to re anchor and after 3 or 4 times of that we would spook the fish into not biting. The fish would still be there but would no longer bite with constant re anchoring. Minnows are our best choice. The strikes were hard hitting today. We did catch 4 undersized Walleye witch were released.

Openings in October, early November and Ice Fishing for 2017and 2018.
