Not sharing this photo of my client with his catch of today would be wrong. This Massive Beast took several minutes to land. An on going, deep, be grudging battle ensued for what seemed like an endless period of time. “Oley” did a magnificent job articulating the battle and I actually chased this fish with the trolling motor and then pulled her away from the weed line we were working.

We spent a long period of time working this fish as the Musky went under the boat 3 times, jumped clearly out of the water, surface splashed 2 times, dodged the net at boat side 2 times before rolling  into the bag head first.

This fish was exhausted when brought aboard, we snapped a quick photo and back into the water immediately.  I took 10 minutes to bring her around as she heavily splashed, as she swam off.

WOW, a Massive Trophy.     A replica is already on order as this report is being typed.   My hat goes off to “Oley”.     This was no long skinny fish, as you can clearly see.    A true, “old” Beast, that has and is continuing to survive for another year.     AWESOME.
