WALLEYE:
This single client worked very hard and asked many questions on why we were producing Walleye during mid day conditions and has now learned the techniques to do the same.
This day was a good day for #rs of fish, as several were boated, we did work hard for these fish. Working the ledges and drop offs was and will continue to be our solution to the Walleye for our daily limits.
A jig and minnow was used, the soft to hard areas (on the bottom) of the drop offs, were the key to our success. These fish were produced thru the cooperation of wind direction, vertical jigging, depth, boat control, structure location, observation of the line, visualizing of the rod tip, rod sensitivity, positive line control, and non monofilament line by using a sensitive super line in thin diameter, these are the true tools, we teach our clients, regardless of the bait or lure we use.
