A fantastic game fish season has again reopened in Northern Wisconsin. Most all reported catching fish with all there friends, including my friends. Certain Vilas County lakes produced best for us as these photos show.
All fish on minnows for us although others have reported trolling stick baits and plastics. Water temps are still cold in Vilas County, a very slow presentation was mandatory for us and slip bobbers also produced in the cold water.
A beautiful tomorrow is forecast and then again cold weather is setting in for a few days.
Multiple locations from 4 to 5 ft deep down to 30 ft deep, depending where you are fishing. Color of the jig did matter for us the past 3 day and yes, a certain 1 or 2 colors out produced all others including on the slip bobbers.
