As many, many people continue fishing with family and friends (maintaining social distancing) the bite remains good.

The beautiful weather of today and the past few days is going to become colder the next few days with the lows continuing in the 20’s for the next few nights. Fished in the Presque isle area with good results, same lake and other boats were also out.

As most, minnows are leading the way for live bait. Our bite is subtle on our location of fishing. The river bites are hard and direct. All lakes are warming slowly depending on the size, depth and there water color.

Some locations have been producing Crappie for several days and before the opener. Slip bobbers are best, for us with Crappie minnows and the occasional plastic.

As always, stay positive think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
