Dozens of fantastic ice fishing reports continue to pile up in Northern Wisconsin over the last several weeks. Everybody is enjoying.

Crappie, suspended over deeper water and on deeper wood structure and still some on the weed line. Minnows, plastics  and even jigging spoons are working.

Perch, depending what lake your on are working on the mud flats and some ledges. Minnows are best for some and Waxies and Wigglers for others.

Gills on the weedy lakes and yes, depending which lake, are shallow. Waxies for most on a 1/32 oz. Find a 4 to 9 ft deep area full of weeds with some wood mixed in and hold on.

Pike on Shiners and other bait are still working very well with Tip Ups and as the saying goes, some areas and lakes you find them deep and some areas only 3 ft. under the ice over the weeds.

Walleye are moving deeper on certain lakes and can be a Bonanza. Deep is relative depending what lake you are fishing, some lakes 14 ft. is deep and others 29 ft. is deep. Some coffee colored lakes do produce during mid day, most are at twilight.

May is fully booked, June is 95 % booked, July and August 70 %booked, September is 50% booked, October and November is in “my opinion” the best daytime Walleye and Muskie fishing of the year, well, May is maybe the best for Walleye, depending what body of water your on.

As always, stay positive, think clearly, do not listen to negative people and do not listen to negative talk.
