Took a few weeks off in posting since I have retired from ice Guiding 2 years ago although, I am still Guiding from the boat from the end of April thru Thanksgiving.
Most of May 2024 is already booked, some openings in June.
A wonderful Mild winter has blessed all ice fisherman this year and the bite is hot and heavy for most specie, depending what lake or river you are on.
Ice conditions (thickness and slush) very wieldy and again, depending what lake or pond you are fishing.
Ice depth varies from 7 to 12 inch’s from what I have seen. Almost all rivers are open water as some Anglers are still in boats.
As always, stay positive think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.
