Most of May 2024 is already booked, some openings in June.

A wonderful Mild winter has blessed all ice fisherman this year and the bite is hot and heavy for most specie, depending what lake or river you are on.

My ice fishing is going well with wax worms for Perch and Gills, mud flats for the Perch and shallow weeds for the Gills and of course Golden Shiners on Tip Ups for Pike on the weed lines and Golden Shiners for Walleye in the evenings on most rock bars.

Ice conditions (thickness and slush) very wieldy and again, depending what lake or pond you are fishing.

Ice depth varies from 7 to 12 inch’s from what I have seen. Almost all rivers are open water as some Anglers are still in boats.
