Just got in.

Crappie on small Crappie minnows, plastics and on Wax worms, 2lb test mono, for my self. All Crappie suspended. Kept a select few.

Several Perch, 1/2 on minnows and 1/2 on Wax worms. All Perch on the mud flats and most were feeding on blood worms, saw them while cleaning.

Blue Gills, many caught in the weeds none kept, all fish on Wax worms.

Ice conditions (thickness and slush) is going to change as 40 degree weather is forecast in up coming days.

Ice depth varies from 7 to 12 inch’s from what I have seen. Almost all rivers are open water as some Anglers are still in boats. Most of May 2024 is booked, some openings in June.

Heading out at 4PM for some Tip Up fishing , will report.
