September  22,  2016.

This father and son had a ball catching fish all day long. Lots of Walleye caught and thrown back. Nothing over 18 inches and a lot of small ones. These guys only wanted dinner for tonight so that’s what they kept.  Make no mistake about it, the Walleye are bitting. Minnows, crawlers and 5 caught on a jig and leech. We did fish out away from the weeds and in deep water. Now remember, deep is relative to what lake you are fishing and  this is working for us. Water temp was still high, 66 degrees and the fish were even more aggressive during the rain this afternoon. I am booked for guiding thru October, openings in November.
